The following risks are covered:

• Liability to third parties and passengers including sea pollution (obligatory with law 2743/99)
• Damages to the vessel from fire, lighting, explosion, sinking, collision etc
• Salvage charges, bottom inspection due to grounding
• Vessel’s theft: total, partial and damages due to forcible entry

The policy can be extended in order to cover the perils of war, strikes, riots, civil commotions etc including malicious damages.
