Introduction

This policy concerns the company “CAPUANO INSURANCE BROKER SA”, hereinafter referred to as CAPUANO.

CAPUANO is committed to protecting the personal information collected when you use our website and other services. This Privacy Policy defines CAPUANO’s commitment to protect personal data and how this commitment applies to its collection, use, transfer and retention. This policy applies when we determine the purposes and means of processing, thereby acting as a data controller.

CAPUANO has designed a standardized contact form on its website in order to facilitate communication with any interested party. This form is used for any queries or requests and directs them to the appropriate department or staff member. In addition, we provide the company’s phone numbers for a more direct communication if this is required. Finally, it is possible to send “Reasons” to CAPUANO, as follows from our legal obligations, where the subject can submit his requests.

In order to manage and respond to your inquiries and requests, we may collect and store your full name, email, address, contact details and any other information you may have provided to us. This information is used strictly to satisfactorily respond to your inquiries or requests and will not be disclosed to third parties except as stated in this policy or where disclosure is required or permitted by law.

For the lawful processing of your data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679, we recognize a lawful basis before processing the personal data. In this case, the legal basis for the processing of the data on our part is the granting of your express consent for the processing, by submitting the respective form only in case you agree with this policy.

2. Transfer of Data

CAPUANO may disclose personal data collected from suppliers or subcontractors to the extent reasonably necessary to handle your inquiries and requests. Such transfers will be protected by appropriate safeguards (e.g. intra-group personal data disclosure clauses, subcontractor personal data disclosure clauses, third party supplier personal data disclosure clauses, personal data disclosure clauses necessary for legal compliance, etc.) . In addition, we may disclose personal data when such disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject.

3. Data Retention

4. Rights of Subjects

4.1 Right of Access

CAPUANO considers that the personal data collected directly from the subjects will be accurate and complete. Individuals can access their own personal data. For further clarification please refer to the Contact section

4.2 Right to Correction and Deletion

The data subject may request the updating, erasure or removal of any information held about him, and any third party who processes or uses the data must also comply with this request. An erasure request can only be refused if an exception applies. For further clarification please refer to the Contact section

CAPUANO is obliged to delete personal data when any of the following applies:

  • the personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or processed
  • the data subject withdraws their consent and there is no other lawful basis for processing
  • the data subject objects to the processing carried out on the basis of the legitimate interests of the Data Controller and there are no other overriding legitimate grounds for the processing
  • the personal data has been processed unlawfully.

Εάν έχει ληφθεί το αίτημα για την διαγραφή των δεδομένων προσωπικού χαρακτήρα, η ταυτοποίηση έχει επιβεβαιωθεί, το αίτημα πληροί μία από τις ανωτέρω απαιτήσεις και δεν υπάρχει νόμιμος λόγος που να αντιτίθεται στην επεξεργασία, η CAPUANO πρέπει να διαγράψει τα σχετικά δεδομένα στο σύνολό τους. Το αίτημα θα πρέπει να καταχωρηθεί στο Αρχείο Καταγραφής Αιτημάτων των Υποκείμενων των Δεδομένων.

Εάν η CAPUANO δεν μπορεί να διαγράψει τα δεδομένα προσωπικού χαρακτήρα, θα διασφαλίσει ότι:

  • δεν μπορεί ή δεν θα προσπαθήσει να χρησιμοποιήσει τα δεδομένα προσωπικού χαρακτήρα για να δικαιολογήσει οποιαδήποτε απόφαση σχετικά με ένα άτομο ή με τρόπο ο οποίος επηρεάζει το άτομο αυτό με οποιοδήποτε τρόπο
  • δεν δίνει σε κανένα άλλο οργανισμό πρόσβαση στα δεδομένα προσωπικού χαρακτήρα
  • προστατεύει τα δεδομένα προσωπικού χαρακτήρα με την κατάλληλη τεχνική και οργανωτική ασφάλεια, και δεσμεύεται στην μόνιμη διαγραφή των πληροφοριών εάν, ή όποτε, αυτές γίνουν διαθέσιμες.

4.3 Δικαίωμα Περιορισμού της Επεξεργασίας

4.4 Δικαίωμα Εναντίωσης

4.5 Δικαίωμα στη Φορητότητα των Δεδομένων

Κατόπιν αιτήματος, το υποκείμενο των δεδομένων θα πρέπει να έχει το δικαίωμα να λάβει ένα αντίγραφο των δεδομένων προσωπικού χαρακτήρα σε δομημένη μορφή. Για επιπλέον διευκρινήσεις παρακαλώ ανατρέξτε στο τμήμα Επικοινωνία .

Αυτά τα αιτήματα θα πρέπει να επεξεργάζονται εντός ενός μήνα, δεδομένου ότι δεν υπάρχει υπερβολική επιβάρυνση και δεν διακυβεύει την ιδιωτικότητα των ατόμων. ‘Ένα υποκείμενο των δεδομένων μπορεί επίσης να ζητήσει τα δεδομένα του να μεταφερθούν άμεσα σε ένα άλλο σύστημα. Το αίτημα αυτό πρέπει να υλοποιείται χωρίς χρέωση.

Εάν η CAPUANO δεν μπορεί να ανταποκριθεί πλήρως στο αίτημα αυτό εντός 30 ημερών, o υπεύθυνος Προστασίας Δεδομένων θα πρέπει παρ’ όλα αυτά να παράσχει τις προβλεπόμενες από τον Κανονισμό πληροφορίες στο Υποκείμενο των Δεδομένων, ή στον νομικά εξουσιοδοτημένο εκπρόσωπό τους εντός του χρονικού διαστήματος που έχει προσδιοριστεί.

5. Τροποποιήσεις

Σε περίπτωση που η CAPUANO επιλέξει να αλλάξει την παρούσα Πολιτική Απορρήτου, θα δημοσιεύσουμε τις αλλαγές εδώ. Όπου οι αλλαγές είναι σημαντικές, μπορεί επίσης να επιλέξουμε να στείλουμε email στους χρήστες που αφορά, με τις νέες λεπτομέρειες. Όπου απαιτείται από το νόμο, θα πάρουμε τη συγκατάθεσή σας για να κάνουμε τις αλλαγές αυτές.
